My Creative Signature.

My journey with making art, and trying to find my place within this creative universe began when I was very young. I was so young, I truly can’t pinpoint an age. One thing I know is that it has taken a while to find my voice, and discover from what view I wanted to paint the world… I’m honestly still experimenting with art, and I hope I never stop doing that because it’s a part of me. Creating has provided an escape for me, and being able to share that has been extremely lovely. So if you’re reading this and you support my art, thank you! You mean a lot to me.

The part of my journey when I realized that I actually liked painting, and writing, and all of that good stuff, it came with a task I never quite knew how to complete. The task is this: What will be my signature?

Maybe some think it’s silly, however, the signature on a piece of art is very important. It’s your statement. This is an accomplishment that you deserve to be proud of. Your signature links you to something that, until now, only existed inside of your head. Personally, I’ve been trying to find the signature that fits me, and it has taken quite some time but I’ve finally found it.

I wanted it to be something simple, not too distracting because I like to stay away from attention in reality. I didn’t want to make it too elegant, seeing how I would never be defined as such, and I also didn’t want it to be meaningless.

So, who am I?

I am an artist, a writer, a wanderer. I’m hopeful, yet at times hopeless. I try and look at the big picture, always. I’m lost sometimes, and other times I find myself.

I’ve gone with this signature for many reasons, but I don’t want to take up too much of your time so I’ll make it short. I am Michelle Ersa, that’s my name.
