Inspired by the creatives that exist within my own family, I’ve settled on the fact that art is what keeps my existence one of joy. I’ve been writing since I was a kid, though I cannot pinpoint an age, I’ve always had a love for this specific form of expression. Allowing my thoughts to bleed out as ink on paper has been an experience like no other, and I must say it will forever be the love of my life.
Another way I show my creativity is through my paintings, both physical and digital. Growing up, I remember watching Bob Ross on the tv create such beautiful scenes and his calming presence showed me how therapeutic painting actually is. More inspiring, however, was watching my dad sit down with a canvas and proceed to create magic before my very eyes. I remember asking him where the scenes he would paint came from, and he would proceed to shrug and tell me that it was just something pretty. It was his own valley, his own ocean, his own wildlife that only existed within his mind and within the portal of a canvas. This was how I truly realized what art is. It's a portal to unlock the universes which exist without boundaries, without laws… art is what translates these precious universes into magic. This is why I create. This website is my invitation to you, to join me in the universe of my mind.
